Steffen Zimmermann

Steffen Zimmermann is a seasoned infrastructure delivery executive, currently serving as Campus Delivery Director at Pure Data Centres Group. He began his journey in the data center sector back in 2007, and for the past years, he has been continuously delivering complex, high-value data center projects across Europe and the Middle East.

With a strong foundation in engineering and project management, Steffen brings deep expertise in the full lifecycle of data center development - from site selection and design coordination, construction execution to operational readiness. His leadership is marked by a strategic, hands-on approach to managing multi-disciplinary teams and now navigating a portfolio of large hyperscale campus developments.

Prior to joining Pure, Steffen held senior roles at Yondr Group, NTT Ltd., and Equinix, where he led the successful execution of large-scale, mission-critical facilities for global clients. His strengths lie in aligning stakeholder expectations, ensuring compliance with evolving industry standards, and delivering scalable, sustainable infrastructure tailored to the demands of cloud, AI, and enterprise workloads.
