Abdulrahman Almazroua
Director of Cybersecurity, Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH)
Abdulrahman Khalid Almazroa is currently the Director of Cybersecurity at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH). His academic credentials include a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, along with two additional Master's degrees in Cybersecurity and Business Management. He is also pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration.
With over 15 years of expertise in Information Technology and Cybersecurity. He leads a team of experts in developing and implementing advanced cybersecurity strategies and practices. He is known for his extensive knowledge and exceptional skills in IT, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, Governance, Risk Management (GRC), Business Continuity, and Enterprise Risk Management.
Almazroa's expertise has been instrumental in ensuring the cybersecurity and protection of valuable data and assets for the healthcare industry, while also maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
Throughout his career, he has held key positions across both private and government sectors, including IT Supervisor at Eastern Cement Company. His roles have also included IT Director and Director of Information Security at King Fahad Specialist Hospital, where he established its inaugural Information Security office, as well as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), which has been transformed to Chief of Cybersecurity at Eastern Health Cluster. In his current role at JHAH, he is dedicated to enhancing IT, Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), and cybersecurity maturity and resilience.
He actively speaks at national, regional and international conferences on topics such as IT, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation, including the Annual Cybersecurity Conferences in the Middle East. His participation in national technology competitions has earned him recognition for his contributions to the field.
In addition to his professional roles, Almazroa serves as a member of the National Committee on Cybersecurity including Healthcare sectoral committee, Aramco Group Cybersecurity Committee, and as an External Advisory Board Member for the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU)
