Mohammed Al-Shiekh

Mohammed Alshiekh is the Co-Founder and CTO of DEMA Energy, a Saudi startup pioneering grid-interactive datacenter infrastructure and large flexible load solutions. With over 15 years of experience spanning telecommunications, autonomous systems, AI, and energy technologies, Mohammed has led large-scale initiatives at Saudi Aramco, SDAIA, Mozn, and academic institutions in the U.S. and U.K. At DEMA, he drives the development of immersion-cooled datacenters, flexible compute platforms, and virtual power plant technologies that integrate large flexible loads with energy systems to enhance grid stability. Mohammed frequently collaborates with universities and research centers, bridging advanced computing, artificial intelligence, and energy flexibility to unlock sustainable growth in the region.
